The welterweight bout between Uros Medic and Daniel Rodriguez headlines UFC Fight Night on August 1 at the Belgrade Arena in Belgrade. The event marks the promotion’s debut in Serbia.
- Medic (13-3) competes for the second time this year and aims for his fourth win in a row. In his previous bout in February at UFC Houston, the 33-year-old Serbian mixed martial artist defeated Geoff Neal by first-round knockout.
- Rodriguez (20-5) also targets his fourth straight victory. The 39-year-old native of Alhambra, California last fought in July, scoring a unanimous decision over Kevin Holland.
The promotion announced the Medic vs Rodriguez matchup as the UFC Belgrade main event on Monday.
