The bout between unbeaten heavyweights Nelson Hysa and Thomas Narmo has been added to the Itauma vs Hrgovic undercard. The event takes place at The O2 in London this Saturday, August 29.
- Albania’s Hysa (24-0, 22 KOs) puts his WBO Global title on the line, having claimed the vacant belt by third-round RTD against Abel Pesut last October.
- Germany-based Narmo (14-0, 14 KOs) of Norway comes off a fourth-round stoppage victory over Mark De Mori in February.
Queensberry Promotions added the Hysa vs Narmo matchup to the upcoming card, following the announcement of the Guido Vianello vs Moses Jolly clash, which also recently joined the action.
In the main event, Slovakian-born British Moses Itauma (14-0, 12 KOs) and Croatia’s Filip Hrgovic (20-1, 15 KOs) clash for the vacant IBF heavyweight title.
In the co-feature, British former world title challenger Sam Noakes (18-1, 16 KOs) faces Ukraine’s former WBO champion Denys Berinchyk (19-1, 9 KOs) at lightweight.
