MVP lands Sky Sports deal in UK and Ireland for women’s boxing

MVP and Sky Sports multi-year deal set to showcase two events annually, starting with Dubois vs Harper this Sunday in London

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Sky Sports announced a multi-year deal to showcase two MVPW events annually in the UK and Ireland. The first card takes place at Olympia in London this Sunday, April 5.

The deal also includes the Sky Sports broadcast of selected MVPW events held in the U.S., with the first card taking place at the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden on Friday, April 17.

“This agreement with MVP underlines Sky Sports’ ambition to showcase the very best in women’s boxing to sports fans and new audiences,” said Sky Sports’ Chief Officer UK and Ireland, Jonathan Licht, in a press release.

“As the UK and Ireland’s biggest investor in and broadcaster of women’s sport, we are proud to be part of the momentum women’s boxing is enjoying and adding the sport to our unrivalled line-up. 2026 is set to be a huge year yet again for women’s sport, with the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup on home soil, as well as the Solheim Cup, WSL, and more, all live on Sky Sports.”

The statement from MVP co-founders Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul reads: “This partnership with Sky Sports marks a major milestone for MVPW and women’s boxing globally. Through MVPW, we are committed to delivering meaningful opportunities for fighters while producing premium events that expand the global reach and commercial potential of women’s boxing.”

“Bringing two premium all-female MVPW events to the UK and Ireland each year, starting with the historic MVPW-01 on Sunday, April 5 at London’s Olympia, is exactly what we envisioned when we launched this platform.”

MVPW-01

Headlining MVPW-01, WBC lightweight champion Caroline Dubois (12-0-1, 5 KOs) faces WBO champion Terri Harper (16-2-2, 6 KOs) in an all-British championship unification.

The co-feature pits England’s unified IBF, WBC, and WBO super bantamweight champion Ellie Scotney (11-0) against Mexico’s WBA champion Mayelli Flores (13-1-1, 4 KOs) for the undisputed title.

MVPW-02

In the main event of MVPW-02, Detroit-based Alycia Baumgardner (17-1, 7 KOs) of Fremont, Ohio, defends her unified IBF, WBA, and WBO super featherweight titles against Korea’s Bo Mi Re Shin (19-3-3, 10 KOs).

In the co-feature, Shadasia Green (16-1, 11 KOs) of Paterson, NJ, defends her unified IBF and WBO super middleweight titles against former two-division champion Lani Daniels (11-4-2, 1 KO) of New Zealand.
