The Dana White’s Contender Series alumni out of Brazil defeated his American opponent via TKO with punches, throwing several knees along the way. Referee Marc Goddard stopped the fight at 4 minutes and 12 seconds into the first round to save the latter from further punishment.
With the win, Jean Silva improved to 12-2 and secured his ninth straight victory. Westin Wilson dropped to 16-9 and suffered his second straight defeat.
