Rousey vs Carano airs live on Netflix on Saturday from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles

MVP and Netflix announced the broadcast team and guest appearances for its first MMA card streaming on the platform: Rousey vs Carano. The event airs live from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 16.

  • The main desk hosts include Netflix lead anchor Elle Duncan, former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, and journalist Ariel Helwani.
  • Guests joining for expert commentary and analysis include former UFC champions Jon Jones and Cain Velasquez, and former MMA fighter Cat Zingano.
  • The cageside team features Mauro Ranallo on blow-by-blow commentary and Kenny Florian on expert analysis.
  • Backstage and crowd reporting will be handled by Sibley Scoles alongside Helwani.
  • Rules and scoring will be led by Sean Wheelock, and the night will be emceed by in-cage announcer Kody “Big Mo” Mommaerts.

Rousey vs Carano

Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (12-2) of Riverside, California, and Gina Carano (7-1) of Dallas County, Texas, square off in a five-round featherweight bout. Both fighters return to MMA after a lengthy absence from competition.

Also on the card is a welterweight bout between former UFC fighters Nate Diaz (21-13) of Stockton, California, and Mike Perry (14-8) of Flint, Michigan.

Plus, Cameroonian-French former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou (18-3) takes on former UFC fighter and 2018 PFL champion Philipe Lins (18-5) of Brazil.
