UFC Fight Night on July 25 is confirmed to take place at Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The event marks the promotion’s return to the UAE following last year’s card.
The announcement on Monday states: “tickets will go on sale soon. Fans are encouraged to register their interest early for the best chance to secure tickets via VisitAbuDhabi.ae, where exclusive hotel and ticket packages for traveling fans will also be available.”
The previous UFC Fight Night in Abu Dhabi last July featured Reinier de Ridder (21-4) of the Netherlands defeating New Zealand-Australian former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker (26-9) by split decision. The headline bout for the upcoming card has yet to be announced.
The list of reported but yet-to-be-confirmed bouts to date includes:
- Steve Erceg (14-4) vs. Ramazonbek Temirov (19-3), flyweight
- Valter Walker (15-1) vs. Thomas Petersen (11-4), heavyweight
- Brendson Ribeiro (17-10) vs. Magomed Tuchalov (5-0), light heavyweight
- Ismael Bonfim (20-6) vs. Axel Sola (11-1-1), lightweight
- Rizvan Kuniev (13-3-1) vs. Tyrell Fortune (18-3), heavyweight
