Sean Brady vs Vicente Luque tops UFC Atlantic City in March

Tuivasa vs Tybura moved to March 16, Namajunas vs Ribas headlines on March 23, Figueiredo vs Garbrandt confirmed for UFC 300

A five-round welterweight bout between Sean Brady and Vicente Luque has been set as the main event of UFC Fight Night on Saturday, March 30 at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Dana White made the fight announcement, alongside three other bouts, in a new video today, following Weili Zhang’s strawweight title defense against Yan Xiaonan at UFC 300 announced yesterday.

Sean Brady (16-1) was in action last month in Austin, Texas, where he submitted Kelvin Gastelum in the third round. In October 2022 in Abu Dhabi, the 31-year-old native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was stopped by Belal Muhammad in the second round with punches, which snapped his 15-fight winning streak. He is currently No. 7 in the UFC welterweight rankings.

No. 9 Vicente Luque (22-9-1) won his previous bout last August by unanimous decision against Rafael dos Anjos. In 2022, Westwood, New Jersey’s 32-year-old was stopped by Geoff Neal in Round 3 and dropped a UD against Muhammad.

White also announced that a heavyweight bout between Australian Tai Tuivasa and Marcin Tybura of Poland has been rescheduled for March 16 to headline UFC Vegas event. Plus, a flyweight bout between Amanda Ribas and former two-time strawweight champion Rose Namajunas has been set as the headliner of UFC Vegas card on March 23.

In addition, a 135-pound bout, pitting former two-time flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo against former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt, has been added to the UFC 300 fight card on April 13 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
